This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) discloses the privacy practices of Native Community Capital

(“NCC”). The purpose of this policy is to notify you of the following:

  • What personally identifiable information is collected by NCC; how that information is used; and with whom NCC shares that information.
  • What choices do you have regarding how NCC uses your data.
  • What steps NCC takes to protect your information and prevent its misuse.

Collection, Use, and Sharing of Information

NCC is the sole owner of the information collected. We only have access to the information provided to us by you. The only information we collect is information which is relevant to your application for a loan or the maintenance of an existing loan. NCC does not sell or rent your information to anyone.

We collect two types of information, personal information and anonymous information. Personal Information is information that has the potential to directly or indirectly identify an individual.

This information is often provided on our forms, applications or other similar fields. This information can include the following:

  • Address, phone number, and email address;
  • Social Security number and income;
  • Credit history and credit scores;
  • Date of birth.

“Anonymous Information” is information that cannot reasonably be used to identify a particular individual either directly or indirectly. Anonymous information may include information about your internet browser, demographic information (for example household income), and aggregated data which has been de-identified and cannot be used to identify an information.

How your information is used

We use your information in the following ways;

  • This includes sharing your information as necessary to fulfill, evaluate, and respond to your request, such as with credit reporting organizations or other third parties to verify information you have provided.

  • To enforce our terms and conditions and otherwise protect our rights and operations.

Marketing

  • We will not share your information outside of Native Community Capital as required to provide our services to you and as required by law.
  • We do not rent, sell, or share your information with any non-affiliated companies for their direct marketing purposes.

Retention Period

NCC will retain your personal information for the longer of the following two periods: (i) the period necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the information was collected according to this Policy; or (ii) the period we are required by law to retain your information.

Changes to the Policy

NCC reserves the right to make changes to this Policy from time to time as necessary to address changes in industry practices, changing regulatory requirements, and new or emerging technologies. When changes are made to this Policy, we will notify you of the changes by mailing a notice to your address of record stating that changes have been made and the date the changes become effective. We strongly encourage you to notify us of any changes in your address and to review all correspondence from NCC promptly.
